CT EMPLOYEES:
If you haven’t received your flu or COVID-19 vaccine, there’s still time to do so.
- There are remaining flu vaccine clinics at Connecticut EB locations for employees; both the regular and high-dose (age 65+) flu vaccines are available.
- COVID-19 vaccines are also being offered at the flu vaccine clinics. All three brands of the COVID vaccine – Pfizer, Moderna and Janssen (J&J) – are available. COVID-19 booster vaccines will also be available. If you are receiving your second dose or booster, please be sure to bring your vaccination card.
Those eligible to receive the COVID booster include:
- All employees who are fully vaccinated AND …
- It has been six months or more since receiving your second dose of the Pfizer or Moderna vaccine OR
- It has been two months or more since receiving the one-dose J&J vaccine.
- Many people prefer to stay with the same brand for their booster shot, but you may receive any brand you choose. Supply may alter brands of available booster shots since type will be prioritized for second doses over boosters. Proof of COVID vaccination dates is required to receive your booster shot.
The COVID-19 Vaccination Consent Form and Vaccine Fact Sheet will be available at the vaccination clinics and can also be found on our COVID-19 Vaccine website (can only be accessed on the EB Network). Flu vaccines can be administered simultaneously with or any time before or after the administration of a COVID-19 vaccine.
Remaining clinic dates, times and locations can be found on the Homeport calendar. For your convenience, all remaining flu/COVID vaccine clinics have also been listed at the end of this notice. If you have any questions, please contact EB Wellness at ebwellness@gdeb.com or the Groton Yard Hospital at (860) 433-3470.
