As Kevin Graney reported, today we are announcing a bonus for those who have been vaccinated, or who plan to be vaccinated before January 4, 2022.  Every vaccinated EB employee will receive an incentive payment of $500 as recognition for their commitment to keeping our shipyards safe.

Here is some additional information about this COVID vaccination incentive.

  • In order to be eligible for this bonus, you must receive your final shot of Pfizer or Moderna or Johnson and Johnson by January 4th.
  • Anyone who has already submitted their valid proof of vaccination, and who has received a confirmation email that this proof has been accepted and validated is already eligible.  No further action is needed from you.  You will receive your bonus as soon as administratively possible.
  • For those who are not vaccinated, or have not submitted proof of vacation, please send an email to proofofcovidvaccination@gdeb.com with your name and badge number in the subject line after you have received your final vaccination.  Please attach a valid proof of vaccination, like a scanned image of a vaccine card or medical record.
  • Bonus payments will be processed and paid on a rolling basis as they are received. Employees who submit completed documentation by December 13th will receive the cash award in 2021.  Employees who submit completed documentation no later than January 7th will receive the cash award in early 2022.
  • January 7th is the last day to submit your documentation for this incentive bonus.
  • Taxes and other paycheck deductions will apply.
  • The COVID vaccination incentive is separate and distinct from the Enterprise Employee Incentive Plan.  There is no Hours Worked eligibility requirement for the COVID vaccination incentive.  New employees on roll by January 4th are eligible.

Thank you for your continued commitment to keeping our workplace safe.
