In August, Electric Boat New London hosted an employee car and motorcycle show to help raise money for the American Heart Association. The employee car show took place on August 9 and the motorcycle show on August 15. Both fundraising events were held in the New London parking lot.
Employee Car Show
29 employees entered their vehicles into the car show on August 9. All employees were welcome to view the cars and vote for their top choices for $1 per vote. Overall, the cars raised a total of $1,100 for the American Heart Association. Trophies were awarded to the top 7 cars that raised the most amount of money within their decade. Employee Motorcycle Show
25 employees entered their motorcycles into the motorcycle show on August 15. The motorcycles, also $1 a vote, raised a total of $700. Trophies were awarded to the top 7 motorcycles that raised the most funds within the categories of Best Cruiser, Best Sports Bike and Best Chrome Bike. Congratulations to the trophy winners:
