On Saturday, July 31, Electric Boat will host two separate events at the Groton shipyard – the christening of the submarine Rickover in the morning and an opportunity to view the Rickover (exterior-only) in the afternoon.
This bulletin contains information about the Rickover viewing ONLY.
- You and three (3) immediate family members are invited to view the submarine PCU Rickover (SSN 795), located in Graving Dock #3 in the Groton shipyard, on Saturday, July 31 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. (Gate will close promptly at 2:00 p.m.)
- All EB parking lots will be open. Employees must wear their badges and act as escorts for their family members.
- Entrance and exit will be through the Main Gate only.
- No photography will be allowed.
