You are currently viewing August 7, 2019 – This Fall; Calling All EB Artists

In New London, there are over 350 pieces of employee artwork displayed throughout the facility. The artwork, created by members of EB’s Employee Art Program, brings life to the walls and gives employees the opportunity to enjoy and even purchase pieces from the artists. Electric Boat employees are now invited to display their art at the Branford House, located at UCONN Avery Point in Groton.

In October, the Branford House will be opening its doors for the EB Employee Art Show. The exhibit will run for four months and is uniquely limited to EB employees and retirees. Everyone, including employees and the general public, will be able to visit the exhibit during this four-month period and view the artwork on display. The gallery will be open Thursdays through Sundays from 12-4 p.m. with no entry fee. Avery Point and the Branford House will be responsible for hanging all artwork and signage for display, and will have security staff during show hours each day.

If you are interested in having your artwork displayed at the exhibit, please contact Ely Davis (edavis@gdeb.com) for the application and waiver. The EB Art Program Committee will look through the applications and make the final selection as to which pieces of art work will be displayed. EB employees and retirees from all sites are welcome to enter their artwork for consideration.

Stay tuned for further details, including the official start date of the EB Employee Art Show. For questions, please reach out to Ely Davis.
