Electric Boat was proud to serve as a scholarship sponsor for the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Scholarship Trust Fund at its 45th Annual Scholarship Awards Dinner.
More than 600 community members gathered to celebrate this year’s extraordinary cohort of 2026 MLK Scholars. These 13 outstanding students were recognized for their academic excellence, leadership, character, and commitment to carrying forward Dr. King’s legacy. Each recipient was awarded a $25,000 scholarship to support their pursuit of higher education.
This year’s scholars represent students across New London County and were chosen through a review process that considered their academic records, community involvement, and written essays.
Electric Boat joined the MLK Scholarship Trust Fund in recognizing these remarkable young leaders and celebrating 58 years of empowering students across the region.
