Do you know a high school junior looking for an incredible summer opportunity?

Applications are now open for Electric Boat’s Summer High School Intern Program (SHIP) in Groton and Quonset Point.

SHIP is an eight-week, paid summer internship where local students ages 16+ work alongside experienced Electric Boat mentors in areas like welding, machining, electrical, design and more. It’s a hands-on way for students to explore careers in shipbuilding while contributing to meaningful work.

If you have a child, family member or friend who may be interested, please share this opportunity with them. Applications for SHIP close on February 28, 2026.

Groundbreaking Ceremony Held for New Warehouse in North Stonington
