You are currently viewing Referral Radar Continues with the Next $2,000 Hot Jobs Prize

Referral Radar has chosen its next Hot Job—a position that is critical to the business and is often hard to fill. New Hot Jobs are announced periodically, and your help to fill these positions comes with the chance to win the $2,000 prize. When an employee’s referral is hired for the chosen Hot Job(s), the employee is entered into a drawing to win.

Our next Hot Jobs drawing will be for referrals submitted from January 3, 2024 – January 31, 2024, for the following requisition. This month, there is one Hot Job and one winner will be drawn:

*2023-11498, Industrial Engineer (I, II, Sr. Specialist)

If you know someone who meets the criteria for this position, you have an excellent chance of collecting the $2,000 prize. In conjunction with Hot Jobs, we will still be awarding prizes in the other two prize categories: Tier I and Tier II. For a reminder on the Tier I and II prize categories, and for more information on Referral Radar, see below.

Referral Radar – Employee Referral Program

Do you know someone who would be a good fit at Electric Boat? We’re growing and always searching for the most talented, quality individuals to join the company. What better resource to find this talent than from EB’s own group of talented employees? This is why we launched “Referral Radar,” our Employee Referral Program.

If you know someone who has what it takes, tell them about our winning team and how to apply. We’re looking for employees who are the best, brightest and work hard. Talk about career opportunities with your valued friends and colleagues and recommend they apply for a position at Electric Boat by uploading their resume at www.ebcareers.com. When they apply and list you as the referral, you will be entered into a raffle for various prizes each month.

Referral Bonus Guidelines

  • For each referral, you will receive one entry into the raffle. There is no limit on the number of people who can apply and list you as a referral; however, the same person applying for different positions will count as only one referral.
  • Raffle prizes will fall into three categories: Hot Jobs (these are our positions critical to the business and often hard to fill), Tier I and Tier II.
    • $2,000 Hot Jobs prize will be awarded to employees when their referral is hired; winners drawn periodically.
    • $1,000 Tier-I prize will be awarded to employees when their referral is hired; two winners drawn monthly.
    • $500 Tier-II prize will be awarded to employees when their referral applies for a position; two winners drawn monthly.
  • Participation in this Employee Referral Program is strictly voluntary, and the recruitment efforts do not involve significant time. The activity involved in this referral program is limited to after-hours solicitation done only among friends, relatives, neighbors and acquaintances as part of the employee’s social affairs.

Referral Eligibility

  • All full-time and part-time employees, with the exception of the employees in the following positions and/or work assignments, are eligible:
    • President/Vice Presidents and any other employee with a position at this level
    • Directors/Sr. Managers and any other employee with a position at this level
    • Managers and any other employee with a position at this level
    • Hiring Managers and employees involved in decisions relating to the position, including participating in the interview process
    • Human Resources employees responsible for any part of the recruiting or onboarding process
    • Contract labor personnel, consultants, leased employees or temporary employees, including interns/co-ops
  • An employee’s eligibility for this program is not conditioned on their continued employment.
  • Candidates are not referral eligible if already employed by any other General Dynamics Business Unit or if they are consultants, contract labor or temporary employees, including interns/co-ops who have worked for Electric Boat within the last two years. Someone who has already applied to Electric Boat can’t go back and add a referral prior to September 1.
  • In the event an applicant is referred by two employees, the date of the receipt of the referral in ICIMS will be the deciding factor.

Disclaimer: Electric Boat reserves the right to determine whether or not referred applicants are qualified for positions covered by the referral program. Electric Boat may modify or discontinue this program at any time. Should the program be discontinued, any in-process referrals will be handled on an individual basis.

If you have any questions or need more information about this program, please contact a staffing representative or email EBReferralRadar@gdeb.com.
