You are currently viewing SubTones Auditions on April 20, 2022

Electric Boat’s very own acapella singing group, the SubTones, will be holding auditions on Wednesday, April 20 for an opportunity to join their group.

After an extended pandemic pause, the SubTones have openings for talented people with a passion for singing. Auditions will be held in the New London cafeteria beginning at 4:00 p.m.

Established in 2008, the SubTones are a talented group of EB employees who perform patriotic, maritime and holiday songs at company events. These men and women have the unique opportunity to attend and perform at large-scale events such as keel layings, christenings, memorials and several other company and community occasions, allowing them to showcase their talents in front of fellow collegues and guests. Not only do they get to share their love of music, but also their pride in representing EB and their noble mission as shipbuilders.

Prior singing experience is preferred, but not required, and you must be an Electric Boat employee to audition. All are encouraged to come out and showcase your talent!

If you’re interested in auditioning for the SubTones, please fill out the interest form

For questions about the SubTones or auditions, reach out to the group’s Musical Director, Robert Westhaver, or  Business Director, Virginia Andrea
