*The 2021 Flu Vaccine website (for scheduling an appointment) can only be accessed on the EB Network; site is located internally on Homeport for employee access only.
As we continue to face the COVID-19 pandemic, timely seasonal flu vaccination is a priority this year. If you haven’t received your flu vaccine, there’s still time to do so. There are a handful of remaining in-person and drive-up flu vaccine clinics at Connecticut EB locations for employees.
Flu clinic dates, times and locations can be found on the 2021 Flu Clinic website https://homeport.ecms.gdeb.com/medical/flushots/SitePages/Home.aspx by clicking on each EB site icon; this information is also listed on the Homeport calendar. For your convenience, all remaining flu vaccine clinics have also been listed at the end of this notice.
Making a vaccine appointment is easy and can be done directly on the flu clinic website. Once your appointment is made, you will receive a confirmation email stating that your appointment has been scheduled. While these flu clinics are for employees only, spouses and dependents with EB insurance can get their flu shot at the EB Family Wellness Center or EB Family Pharmacy by scheduling an appointment: https://www.ebfamilywellnesscenter.com/.
COVID-19 vaccines are also being offered at both the in-person and drive-up flu vaccine clinics. When you arrive for your flu vaccine appointment, you can simply ask to receive the COVID vaccine if you wish to do so. Flu vaccines can be administered simultaneously with or any time before or after the administration of a COVID-19 vaccine. At yesterday’s Groton flu vaccine clinics, nearly 50 employees stopped by for their first-dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.
There is no shop order for the vaccine clinics and employees must attend on their own time. If you have any questions, please contact EB Wellness at ebwellness@gdeb.com or call the Groton Yard Hospital at (860) 433-3470.
