Electric Boat Benefits recently announced the addition of a free tutoring benefit through LifeCare called Homework Connection. As a reminder, Homework Connection provides access to thousands of online tutors to help your child with their at-home assignments, projects and papers. This benefit is at no cost to you and will be automatically included in your existing employee benefits package. Each family will be allotted 5 hours of tutoring per month. There are three main components to using the online tutoring:

  • Use real time tutoring. Over 3,000 expert tutors are on demand 24/7 for grades K-12 and some college courses, with experience in over 100 subjects.
  • Drop-off reviews for essays, reports, creative writing, and even resumes and cover letters. Tutors can review written items and provide grade level appropriate feedback.
  • Self-study tools are also available in the SkillsCenter Library which includes Early Edge Videos, AP test prep videos, practice tests and worksheets for a variety of subjects.

When you register with LifeCare online between September 21 through October 2, you will be entered into a drawing for a $50 gift Amazon gift card!

EB firefighters recognized for life-saving rescues
