Electric Boat (EB) and the Metal Trades Council (MTC) have reached a tentative agreement on a four-year contract. The bargaining committees engaged in interest-based bargaining to find common areas of interest. Both committees agreed at the beginning of negotiations to focus on issues that would positively impact employees’ quality of life.
The MTC will notify their members about the ratification vote which will occur next week.
We commend the bargaining committees for the respect they showed one another, and for their integrity while committing to excellence.
