We appreciate the ongoing support of our entire workforce as we navigate the COVID-19 impact to our community. We are aware of the directives of the Governors in the region and are considering our next steps.
Our current update:
•There are no confirmed cases at EB. One employee tested was negative for coronavirus.
•As communicated earlier this week, flexible work arrangements require Director approval/concurrence.
•Facilities has increased cleaning in high-traffic areas.
•Facilities and Security will begin to restrict entry to EB facilities to essential vendors and visitors only.
•In line with previous communication and guidance from public health experts, employees who are sick should stay home and seek medical attention from their personal health care provider as needed.
•All international travel is prohibited as is domestic travel by commercial air and train. Travel by EB Shuttle or automobile (within a 6-8 hour radius) is permissible with Director approval.
•If you are returning from international travel, you must follow a 14-day quarantine at home. Do not report to work. Contact your supervisor and please email the EB Medical inbox at ebmedical@gdeb.com with “Travel” in the subject line letting us know the date you returned and where you traveled from.
•The EB Medical staff is in high demand right now. Please call EB Medical rather than walk in to an onsite facility if you need assistance on how to help employees who suspect exposure. EB Medical can be reached at one of the following numbers: Groton at (860) 433-3470 and in Quonset Point at (401) 268-2244. The team is working to address calls in the order in which they are received – please do not log multiple calls.
