Team Electric Boat at the 2025 Eastern Connecticut Heart Walk.

The 2025 Eastern CT Heart Walk was a success, bringing together our employees, families and four-legged friends for a day filled with energy, community and heart. This year, we had more than 100 walkers lace up their sneakers to support the American Heart Association’s mission to fight heart disease and stroke. Together, we raised an incredible $30,279, and we’re not done yet.

Donations are still being collected on the Electric Boat Heart Walk page until December 12, 2025. You still have time to help us reach, or even exceed, our goal. Every dollar raised supports life-saving research, community education and programs that help people live longer, healthier lives.

For anyone who missed out on this year’s official walk shirt or wants an extra one, they are on sale for $20 with all proceeds going directly to the Heart Walk campaign. To purchase a shirt, please email CommunityEngagement@gdeb.com with your name, shirt size and mail zone and you will be contacted with payment information.

Thank you again to every walker, donor, team captain, volunteer and supporter who helped make this year’s event so memorable. Your commitment and generosity truly make a difference, one step at a time.

Let’s keep the momentum going as we wrap up the year strong, because when we walk together, we change lives together.
