Earlier this week, Governor Ned Lamont announced updates to the Connecticut vaccine distribution strategy.  Beginning March 1, the next age group eligible for vaccination are CT residents 55 to 64 years old, as well as all preschool through 12th-grade educators and staff, and child care workers living or working in CT. Individuals who were eligible under Phase 1a or as residents/staff of congregate settings remain eligible and can still schedule their vaccination appointments.

There are several ways to schedule a vaccine appointment.  Here is information on how to schedule a vaccine appointment:

Option 3:

Schedule through the online Vaccine Administration Management System (VAMS)

A link to that portal can be found on the state’s centralized website: https://portal.ct.gov/Coronavirus/COVID-19-Vaccinations—VAMS-Support

Electric Boat does not yet have vaccines for distribution through our clinics, but continues to request supply from the state to administer on-site to eligible employees.  In order to get an accurate count of the number of vaccines needed for our eligible workforce, we are asking employees who have already been vaccinated to voluntarily self-report your vaccination to EB Wellness.  After you receive a COVID-19 vaccine from a community location (hospital, pharmacy, doctor’s office, etc.) and would like to voluntarily self-report your vaccination to Electric Boat, please click the link below.  It is not mandatory to report your vaccination, but doing so will help ensure EB Wellness fills the limited number of appointment slots with individuals who are still in need of a vaccine.

Please note: this information will be used for vaccine planning purposes only and will be kept strictly confidential by EB Wellness.

In the meantime, please continue to wear a mask (even if you have received a vaccine), watch your distance and maintain a safe distance between you and your coworkers and wash your hands frequently.  These techniques help protect all EB employees from COVID-19.

Thank you.
