This week, the design and engineering community at EB celebrated an important milestone. Employees and EB leadership held gatherings in New London and at Eagle Park to celebrate the completion of Columbia Class Arrangement Area Close-outs.
A culmination of 6 years of effort, Area Close-out represents an important milestone in the continuing maturation of the design of Columbia. Disclosure development will continue, with a plan to achieve 83% complete by construction start to support efficient construction execution.
EB President Kevin Graney, addressed those in attendance, highlighting the idea of legacy. “I just want to touch on one concept today, and that is the concept of legacy – our collective legacy as an organization…the legacy of our products, the legacy of our processes and the legacy of our people. The legacy we’re here to celebrate today is our people. We couldn’t do it without the people here.”
