Electric Boat’s Virginia-class submarine has made it to the final round of the 2024 Coolest Thing Made in Connecticut contest, and we’re looking to our talented team of shipbuilders to help us secure the coolest thing title!
Spearheaded by the Connecticut Business and Industry Association (CBIA), the contest began on August 21 with a list of 16 innovative, creative and cool products made in Connecticut. Over the course of three rounds, the products battled it out to reach the fourth and final round where only two products remain. The Virginia-class submarine is battling head-to-head with Sikorsky’s Black Hawk helicopter, and we need your votes to help the product you build become the ultimate coolest thing.
