Monday, January 23, marked day one of Electric Boat’s first-ever High School MDA Design Co-op, where students are offered the opportunity to work in conjunction with earning school credit.
The students pictured above and below are representative of both Harvard H. Ellis Technical High School and Ella T. Grasso Southeastern Technical High School. They participate in their school’s work-based learning programs, where every other two weeks they are employees of Electric Boat and prepare to work full time after graduation.
This program was made possible in collaboration with the Marine Draftsmen’s Association, Talent Acquisition, Workforce Development and the Connecticut Technical Education and Career System (CTECS). Let’s welcome these students and wish them well as they come aboard the Electric Boat team!
